Product Prices - Product prices quoted on this site are those ruling at the time of printing and where relevant include VAT at the current rate.
In the event of a change in VAT, prices may be adjusted. Prices for Makeup Training and Makeup Workshops are not inclusive of VAT.

The Makeup Box Ltd will make every effort to check the accuracy of prices shown on our website www.themakeupbox.com and in our order acknowledgment emails, but mistakes can occasionally happen. If we discover a pricing error on your order, we will make all efforts to contact you as soon as possible. You will then have the option to confirm your order at the correct price or to cancel it. If we are not able to contact you, we will cancel your order. Prices are exclusive of delivery charges. The postage cost of your product is set out in the Delivery Section below.

Product Description - We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, images and prices of products appearing on the site are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colours or other content available on the Site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

Although we aim to keep the Site as up to date as possible, the information including product descriptions appearing on this Site at a particular time may not always reflect the product exactly at the moment you place an order.

VAT Receipt - If you require a VAT invoice, please contact us at +44(0)870 034 2988.

Payment Methods - You many pay using any of the methods specified in the payment section of the Online Shop. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours.  All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, whether in advance or subsequent to a payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of products.

Title to Goods - The Makeup Box Ltd will retain the legal ownership of the goods until full payment has been made by you and such payment has been received by us. Legal ownership of the goods will immediately revert to us if we refund any such payment to you.

  Delivery - With our standard delivery service you should receive your goods within 5 working days. A limited number of products will take longer than 5 days to be delivered, although these instances are highlighted next to the relevant items on the shopping page.

Orders are delivered to the address of the account holder unless an alternative delivery address is confirmed is specified in your order.

Complete the 'Delivery Address' section (including full postcode) on your order form, and provide the details to the operator if ordering by telephone or amend the relevant section when ordering via the Internet (please note this does not apply to a new customer's initial order).

When you receive your package within the order packaging, you will find a dispatch note with details of your order together with details of our returns process. If the items listed on the dispatch note do not match those contained in your delivery, please notify us immediately by calling our Customer Services Team on: +44(0)1444 819391 Please ensure you obtain a Proof of Postage when you return the goods to us. You should retain your Proof of Postage in order to provide proof to us that you have returned the goods, in the unlikely event that we do not receive the returned parcel. We cannot accept liability for returned goods lost in transit.

Postage - Orders will be charged at a fixed rate of £2.25 per order within the mainland UK, Ireland and Scotland. All oversea purchases will be charged at a flat rate of £15.00.

Compressors will be charged at a heavy good rate and the price for the product will be dependent on its size and weight. The postage amount will be confirmed alongside the product description in the online Shop.

If we are unable to fulfil your order we will contact you by email. We may not be able to accept your order for an individual product if it is out of stock or if we are unable to get authorization for your credit /debit card payment. Orders may be delivered in one or more parts. We do not accept any liability whatsoever for delayed delivery caused by any third party.

Guarantee - All products sold by The Makeup Box Ltd are guaranteed to be quality goods. Should any product you purchase from us prove to be unsatisfactory in use due to defective workmanship or faulty material replace it with an equivalent product (if available), or give you a full refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Cancellation Rights - We hope that you will be happy with your purchase. Purchases from The Makeup Box Online Shop are eligible for a cooling off period and customers are entitled to cancel an order in writing from the date of placing an order and up to 7 working days after receipt of the goods. However, all personalised items are exempt from cancellation, as is fragrances, makeup products where the seal has been broken. We will not exchange or refund any makeup products that have been used or tampered with. All pro-makeup classes deposits are non-refundable.

Where the price has already been paid in respect of any order cancelled during the cooling off period, we will reimburse to you the full price of such cancelled order (including the price of returning the goods) within 30 days, provided you are not deemed to be at fault if the goods are returned damaged.

Refunds will only be made against the original credit/debit card used.

Customer Satisfaction - If you have cause to make a complaint or cancellation about any of our products or services, please contact us or put all the relevant details in an e-mail to Customer Service@themakeupbox.com. We undertake to deal with any complaints speedily and sympathetically.
