MAC Makeup Christmas Look
Apply camouflage makeup to conceal tired lines or shadows beneath the eyes and cover pimples or blemishes. Use a dab of MAC cream concealor on a soft makeup brush and apply onto the skin in a 'C' shape from the inner to the outer corner of the eye, then using a foundation makeup sponge apply MAC foundation evenly across your face.
For the eyes personally I love MAC ‘Groundwork’ which produces a creamy wheat tone an ideal base for the eyelids. As it’s Christmas use the MAC ‘Silver Fog’ to dust the eyelids… ‘Silver Fog’ is a bright and metallic silver powder. The texture is great, not chunky and very easy to apply, dry or wet.
This winter think browns and minks. Blend the ‘Silver Fog’ with MAC the eye shadow duo MAC ‘Warm Mink and Sable. Use the darker eye colour on the outer eye and the light shade on the inner eye-lid. Add a touch of green onto the outer eye I recommend MAC Golden Olive Pigment. To complete the look, add a small dab of Silver Fog onto the lower inner corner of the eye. Define the eyebrows and apply mascara, I like MAC Mascara X, which builds dramatically longer, thicker and glossier looking lashes. Mascara X doesn't clump or smudge and long wearing. To give your lashes a really full look use the tip of the mascara wand to add thickness and length, always work the mascara wand from the roots to the tips of the lashes. Shade the face using bronzer, from the ear across the cheekbone to the upper lip, and on the forehead along the hairline.
Christmas is a great time to go glam with vivid lip colours so finish your ‘MAC Makeup Christmas Look’ wear the MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick and apply the lipstick from the centre and build in layers.
