Once you've found the right lashes you will need a pair of small scissors, magnifying mirror, eyelash glue and tweezers.
Quick tip: If you’re new to wearing false eyelashes always do a patch test first to check you're not allergic to the glue. The last thing you want is swollen red eyes.
Preparing your False Eyelashes
Carefully remove your false lashes with a pair of tweezers from their box with a pair of tweezers. Hold your new lash at both ends with your fingers and bend it several times in a "U" shape to get it flexible.
Always use white eyelash glue as it becomes clear once it dries. Before applying glue carefully place actually the strip of lashes onto your upper eyelid, look into a mirror and measure the length of the lash against your upper lid. Bringing the lash as close to your lash line as possible following its natural curve. Start from the outer corner of your eye first and gently press the lash strip into place. Making sure it's the right size for your eyes. If the lash strips are too long they will not be flattering and will give the effect of ‘closing’ your eye rather than opening so it’s important that your lashes fit just right.
with your scissors trim the unwanted length along the outer edge of the lash until you have the right length. It does not matter if both lashes are not exactly even as natural eyelashes are never exactly the same.
Once your happy with the fit use the pointed end of your tweezers to apply the glue along the base the false lash. make sure you don't use too much glue. Wait several seconds to allow the glue to become "tacky".
Looking down into the mirror, close the eye your applying your lash to and fit the lashes on top of your natural lashes, tight to the lash roots as possible. It's tricky but try not to blink. Adjust using tweezers or fingertips while the glue is still pliable then apply lash to eyelid.
Leave for a couple of minutes to ensure the glue has dried before applying mascara and eyeliner. The mascara will help the lashes connect together for a more natural-looking result.
Now you’re ready to dazzle with your false lashes…
