Discover These Fabulous Makeup Products

Makeup products… Many of us religiously stick to our well tried and tested favourites. Ladies even if you are a diehard fan of MAC, Maybelline, No 7, Bobbi Brown or Max Factor there’s nothing like treating yourself to some new makeup. And, there’s definitely something quite exciting about discovering something new to pop into our makeup bags and with the Christmas party season just around the corner it’s time to start thinking about what to wear and what makeup we’ll be using!

If you love MAC or Nars then you will really enjoy discovering MAKE, this is a great relatively new makeup range founded last year in Jan 2013.

MAKE

MAKE

There are 260 pieces in this fabulous collection, and in addition to the limited artist editions MAKE offer a pretty impressive base collection to choose from. One of the bestselling products to date is the Custom Finish Effects Matte Dew compact. What makes this product so perfect and easy to use is that on one side you have your metrifying gel, the other a moisturizing balm, everything you need in one portable little case is genius. And works. With a soft makeup brush simply apply a touch of the oil combatant over the T-zone this removes that greasy, sweaty look and leaves the T –zone looking flat and unreflective. To add a soft sexy, dewy finish, apply the dewy moisturising balm along the cheek and brow bones.

MAKE eye shadows are great makeup products well worth trying, like Mac they are richly pigmented with buildable colours, and come in some unusual innovative shades

(such as their really flattering mustard yellow). Check out online the Celeste e Verde Palette great value for money and fabulously packaged.

Antonym

ANTONYM-kabuki-brush-pouch

If you are eco-conscious, Antonym, then this is may well be the makeup range you have been looking for, it currently is the only makeup line to be accredited natural/organic by Ecocert. Its eco-friendly and none of the makeup products brands have been tested on animals and each product is vegan based. Antonym Cosmetics is a line of makeup that is gentle on the skin and the environment, yet offers exciting colours with strong pigmentation and gorgeous luminosity.

I especially like the makeup brushes. Each of the 20 brushes is well designed, and the kabuki brush in particular performs beautifully, great for applying bronzer.

The only drawback is that the brand is still limited, but the best makeup products that really jump off the shelf, is the baked blush, a subtle powder blush that gives a gorgeous natural glow and my second recommendation is the organic Quotto eye shadow collection. Both of these makeup products come in an unusual bamboo compact packaging that again is completely eco-friendly!

Smashbox

SMASHBOX-full-exposure-mascara-

This is another great makeup range and one that is affordable and which offers a great selection of quality makeup products. If you suffer from unwanted large pores and oily skin you must try the Primer. This is a primer worth its weight in gold! It can be worn on its own or beneath your foundation gives great coverage and really lasts with a good staying power of up to eight hours!

My other fave of the Smashbox range is Full Exposure Mascara – I love it! It’s super black and thickens the lashes beautifully without clumping or clogging of your lashes together a great makeup to keep in your makeup bag!
