What should be in every girl’s makeup bag this summer?

Once again summer is just around the corner, though many of us have a had brief interlude in the glorious sun baked days in March… Enough to start thinking about how we want to get our summer makeup bags ready, for a fresh new summer makeup look…

Out with the dark winter plum and brown lipsticks in with fuchsia, soft pinks and warm pastels. Personally MAC Long lasting lip-glosses and rich pigmented lipsticks every time… a fabulous range of colours to choose from and the product feels good on the lips.

My favourite is the Jill Stuart makeup range. This year brings another wonderful selection of eyeshadow boxes to choose from mint blue colour and summer fruits of citrus yellow, orange and silver.

A silicone foundation is a must… it’s light and feels soft on the skin… Airbase foundations are always a winner…

Blusher… If you like that soft healthy pink glow keep your blusher along side the bronzer. Find a blusher.

Bronzer is a definite must for every self respecting summer makeup bag… and can be worn instead of blush. Bronzer was worn by many of the models on the runways at New York’s fashion week in New York try ‘Milan’s Illuminating Powder’.

Big lashes are in… If the thought of having false lashes does not rock your world then a great long lasting volumizing waterproof mascara is the way to go… L’Oreal, Ten Image and Revlon offer a great selection of tried and tested fabulous mascaras.

Eyeliners are definitely in trend… Forget the blacks and browns its about the blues, greens silver and steel grey eyeliners either as a soft pencil or eyeliner gel.

Eyeshadow… Urban Decay, Pixie and MAC all have strong-pigmented eyeshadow. Its nude, peaches, creams and subtle almost barely there coloured eye shadows. My favourite is the Jill Stuart makeup range. This year brings another wonderful selection of eyeshadow boxes to choose from mint blue lively colour and summer fruits to include citrus yellow, orange and silver.
